Our ‘sessions’ are taught by different teachers with a range of insights, strategies, methodologies and classroom management styles.

WHAT WE OFFER?
20-hour 1 week training course (4 hours daily, 2-6pm: Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri), PRICE=$499

20 hour course Includes:
Monday: Overview of industry, countries of opportunity, classroom observation, cultural sensitivity.
Tuesday: Methodologies, assessing students, tools, materials, role playing, activities, best practices
Wednesday: Teaching conversation, pronunciation, accent reduction
Thursday: Teaching grammar, writing, reading, test prep.
Friday: Live teaching, followed by evaluation & discussion. Job strategies. Resumes.
Certificates, teaching photos provided at end of course. This is a not a university credit course.

WHAT’S UNIQUE?
Not just lectures. Teachers will go ‘live’ in private 1-on-1, as well as group classes (which are given as free supplemental classes to SBL international students). This is invaluable experience teaching various levels of Int’l students.

WHEN?
2010 Weekend courses held the first full week in each month.
March 1-5, April 5-9, etc.

WHERE?
South Beach Languages. One block from the ocean in South Beach, Miami Beach, Florida.
